With the next season slated for 2018, how many seasons and how long can this show continue? HBO had better have figured out a way to actually create hosts (who don't age) for actors or the "Man in Black" will be searching via a walker.......

The writers have mapped out six seasons. Whether or not HBO greenlights all those remains to be seen.

So maybe a season every other year for the next 12? Anthony Hopkins will be 90 by the conclusion!

Many series could not be done justice as a 2-3 hour movie (Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, etc.). This series could have been wrapped up in a less than 3 hour movie IMHO.

This show is too layered and slow to ever get picked up for 6 seasons.

Feels like one of those 'Carnivale' type HBO shows. Kinda great but ends on a cliff hanger after a couple of seasons, quietly gets canceled.

Somehow I doubt it! It's a massive hit and Reddit is going crazy with the finale.

I loved every second of this show! So many great moments!!! The only piece left hanging is where is Stubbs and Elsie???

Also, none of you all think Ford was a host/android do you? Albeit one that ages. I read a theory that he was. Maybe season 2 will focus on Delos board members trying to escape the park alive. So far Charlotte and William/MIB are the only fleshed-out human characters at that dinner.

I don't know...... After 10 episodes I am still unimpressed with the series. I think that after he realized how poor the plot line was Anthony Hopkins insisted he die (and leave the show) after season one. With all the repeat scenes and similar plot lines each week, I think I know how the hosts must feel.......

I was thinking that!!! Remember the host in that house basement? I originally thought it was going to be Teresa but that didn't happen.


Also, I wonder how many parks there are??? You know the next season will be focusing on a Genghis Khan world.
