Why did the girl from Venezuela get into the top 10? She cannot sing.
Ding ding ding!!! God dang she is painful to watch...ugh...not sure how she even got to Hollywood.
I am pretty much on the Catie and Maddie train at this point. Mara is just entirely too self absorbed and emotional. Catie just kills it...every. single. time. The rest just suck...suck bad. Sure Jurnee, or Journey, or whatever...can sing....but she used the whole "I am a lesbian" as her mantra. She sucks. Didn't need to hear it...just sing.
I just want to be clear that when Ryan kept saying, "You weren't voted into the Top 10 by America," he was completely wrong. What he should have said was that those who weren't put through on America's vote didn't make the Top SIX.
For all we know, one or more of the contestants the judges put into the last four spots in the Top 10 were indeed voted into the Top 10 by America. It's also possible some of the kids who went home were actually voted into the Top 10 by America, in 7th, 8th, 9th, and/or 10th place, but the judges overruled America and picked one or more contestants we didn't. I'd love to know if they knew who the actual Top-10 vote getters were.

I don't know why they picked Michelle either. She is not a great singer by any means, although she sings better than I can. That's about it.

Ah dangit, you are right. I completely forgot about Cade. That guy is already gonna make it. He kills it as well. Caleb, the country kid, is pretty good too. I think it's gonna be Catie, Maddie, and Cade battling it out at the end.

Great point! I hadn't even thought about this. The only thing I don't love about America voting is that "America" has been known to be mostly teeny bop girls voting over and over, so how do we really get a clear picture?

I do like Michael though, there is just something so talented about him. He is so off when he isn't singing but when he starts he is mesmerizing.
I hope the judges do not have the save this year! I do like the new voting format that you vote during the show and the results are at the end.
