Besides the groundbreaking "I Love Lucy", there was "The Lucy Show", "Here's Lucy", and the 1980s flop "Life With Lucy".

All were great shows. I remember The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy from reruns.. And remember the ill-fated Life With Lucy as well..

I actually watched some youtube the other day where I think they had William Frawley on The Lucy Show right before he died.

Life With Lucy was just going to the well one too many times.. I mean, let's be honest here.. The Lucy Show was basically a continuation of I Love Lucy and Here's Lucy was a continuation of The Lucy Show.. Then Life With Lucy was part 4.

I was not a big fan of "I Love Lucy". To me it got quite repetitive. Although there were some very funny episodes. The grape stomping episode, for example.

I was a big fan, however, of all of her later shows.

There was also The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour (1957-60) where the Ricardos and the Mertzs are now living in the country. The Mertzs are no longer the Ricardo's landlords and Lucy is still getting into trouble.

They actually moved to Connecticut a little over half way through the 6th (last) season of I Love Lucy. The Luci-Desi Comedy Hour had 13 episodes over a three year period. All the episodes featured major guest stars and about half the episodes took place away from Connecticut.

Yes, like Lucy and Red Skelton in Alaska.
