I hadn't realized the season finale was so close. I was hoping for just a little more mileage out of the whole 'Serena gets her comeuppance as a de facto handmaid' bit.
Agree that having June walking IN the street was utterly unbelievable and just lazy, bad writing. Ready for the series to find a satisfactory ending and wrap up.
What I would like to see for the ending is, the remnants of the US, along with some allies just come in and completely level the powers that be in Gilead. Take out the Commanders and wives, Aunts, Eye's, and Angel's. Bring the entire system down.
I really enjoyed the last season. I liked the focus on relationships, and while I do enjoy June Osbourne, Action Hero, it was great to get into the dynamics between she and Luke, and she and Serena, a bit more in depth.

I enjoyed this season well enough, but honestly, the pensive thought scenes, private angst scenes, etc. went on FAR too long. It's like they were trying to fill time as we watched June sit somewhere and go through some quiet emotional turmoil. Too much.

Except "Gilead" is most of the former US and presumably acquired control over the most powerful military in the world including nukes. It's Gilead that would most likely level the remnants and their allies.
We just binged watched all seasons as we’d never seen the show. Can’t wait for the final season. I found it compelling, terrifying, dark and interesting. Overall a great series.
