I would say that the ending to "Dallas" was really weird. Because the show started off as this really serious and well-written drama, but the last episode ended with this bizarre, fantasy, make-believe "It's a Wonderful life"-type storyline where the Devil had come after J.R. to collect his due... and seemingly, caused J.R. to shoot himself. I mean... really stupid.

There are many..... Guess I need to pick one. The Wire was a great and excellent series. Near the top of my all time favorites. However I was very disappointed in the way they ended it. The last couple episodes seemed rushed to me as it seemed they decided it had to end so they through together a crappy rushed ending not worthy of the other seasons and episodes. At least IMHO.
i liked the Sopranos. But not nearly as much as The Wire. The series did have an even more WTF? ending.
The reason Lost had a pathetic ending is that the writers had no idea where the story was going to go after the first or second season, so they had to make up a bunch of mysterious crap to drag the show out for as long as the network would keep it n the air (or until even the writers had forgotten where the story was going and decided to throw in the towel), very little of which was ever explained, nor could be. "They were in purgatory and now they're all in heaven" is about as lazy a resolution one could possibly come up with.
Hot in Cleveland. I didn't like how quickly the ladies married off and left the house that made the show, and in some case a complete stranger (Melanie)...
