Followed by (in on particular order of preference):-
Justified - (Walton Goggins, is an amazing actor: incredibly versatile and watchable) Ash Vs Evil Dead - (Again, Bruce Campbell, has that similar irresistible charm, and he makes the Evil Dead franchise his own) Boardwalk Empire - (I adored Steve Buscemi's role here)
Game of Thrones
House of Cards
The Sopranos
The L Word
Peaky Blinders
The Shield
Special mention to slightly older shows: Farscape, The West Wing, Scrubs
I have more but they have been said here many times...Breaking Bad, 6 Feet Under, Rome, Deadwood...I'll give a plug for Grimm, too. OMG, Outlander...
so many...
Had to check.my old post on p.6, and I haven't changed my mind . True Detective 1, Justified, Longmire, GoT, etc. Right now I'm binge-watching Justified, and I can't get over the high quality of the direction and writing. The Blu-ray DVDs have great interviews with behind-the-scenes stories.
Same with Entourage. I never got into it but it seemed people were always talking about it, yet nobody has mentioned it in this thread.
I loved Entourage, never missed a single episode. Fun to watch, as the guys just bounced from sitch to sitch, always coming out ahead. The spot-on casting of the four leads (plus Jeremy Piven) made for a great "entourage" of characters.
But great TV it ain't.
