This is a new Netflix series. It’s a makeover show hosted by five gay men the Fab 5. The clients are stuck in a rut and need fashion, lifestyle, and health makeovers. It’s a cute show. I’ve only watched one episode so far so will eventually update.

Also because it’s Netflix, it definately isn’t PG. It’s not super dirty though.

Edit: I didn’t know that ***** Eye has been on before. Netflix has rebooted the series with an original cast.

I love that the word q-u-e-e-r is filtered.

It was huge when it first aired and made a star out of Carson Kressley

And Ted Allen, who hosts Chopped now.

Yep, I used to love the original.

What was heartwarming about it, to me, is that they often chose guys who most likely would not have spent much time around guys like the show's hosts in their normal life, so they were usually reluctant. But once they trusted them and opened up to them, you could tell they were so relieved to have gotten the help.

I miss those guys! I will have to check out the reboot.

I watched the first couple episodes. I really loved the first guy. What a sweetheart.

Jury is still out on the new Fab 5. Karamo and Tan are my early favorites. Jonathan gets on my nerves.

Unfortunately I didn’t know that until after I created the thread.

Tan's accent is adorable (does anyone know if his given name is Tan France?). Karamo is a sweetheart. Antoni is absolutely gorgeous. Jonathan also got on my nerves, but he grows on you.

I'm watching a few more episodes today. Still enjoying it ... I think the new Fab 5 has the same sort of chemistry and connection that the original Fab 5 had. I think what's lacking for me is the music. That was such a big part of the original show ... they even produced a soundtrack that sold pretty well. But the music on this version feels like an afterthought. Much of it is just really generic.

Straight Guy, which is what a lot of people called it, was a fun show, but Carson was and still is annoying, in any setting including Dancing with the Stars.

The original was a favorite of mine. IIRC I never missed an episode. Unfortunately I don't have Netflix so hope I can catch this on Amazon Prime; if not now, sometime in the future.

It's a Netflix production. I doubt it'll be available on Amazon.
