Telepathic, telekinetic vampires now? Well I suppose they had to throw in some vapid fantasy elements to hold the interest of the audience.

I missed the part where we found out they are telekinetic. Could you share please?

Actually, it's a pretty good story so far. I'm not much for vampire or zombie stories, don't even watch the vaunted The Walking Dead, but so far, this one is holding my interest.

I had never heard of the books until I started watching the show. I REALLY like it so far.

I was emailing a friend about it, and trying to give a brief synopsis of the show, and as I was writing and giving a brief rundown...it occured to me that my description sounded pretty hokey. A show about vampires, and the CDC and a secret gov agency needs to experiment on kids to develop a vaccine against the vampire virus.

I can see how people might roll their eyes. BUT...the story is good. I like it.

I don't think it's visiting people in their sleep. I think they have the ability to get into people's minds, their thoughts. Some people have been awake when they've received "a visit".

So far it seems they just visit. Do they have the ability to make you do something? Not sure.
