lol yea idk if the ones you listed are japanese but if they are they sure blow american shows out of the water lol and if they are japanese game shows how/where do you watch them? (channel?)
I really liked Who Wants to Be a Millionaire before they ruined it by having celebrity shows with lame questions. I have not seen the new version yet with Meredith Viera,
Excellent call. PS she's no Regis but wasn't bad at all IMO. Just seemed to run its course.
Shows like the Newlywed Game, Dating Game etc I would disagree with only because I really doubt you could capture that same fun "spirit" of the show. Whereas before it would be sometimes "naughty," today that'd be taken way too far and be just another in a long line of sewage TV that so dominates the airwaves now.
Same with Hollywood Squares - the time it was on and the talents they had made the show. Couldnt' recapture that now.
I was always a Match Game fan. I even liked the mid 90s version. RIP Charles Nelson Riley. I really miss the 70s and 80s when game shows ruled daytime. Gave me something to look at on days off from school before the soaps came on and I'd be bored all afternoon. Then we got cable and I'd look at old reruns
