Is it just me or is Reid sort of "out of touch"?

First, it was tomorrow. Then out of nowhere, he files for cloture. Then he ends up voting against the cloture that he filed for. I'm not really sure what to think......maybe it's senility settling in.

Why did Reid stop in the middle of what he was saying and confer with McConnel?

I blame Nelson MUCH MORE, i mean it made sense at least, to stick to principle when his point of view had a CHANCE to win... but since they WILL have 60 votes soon... then all he is doing is delaying the unevitable!!! and causing people to go weeks with no $$$$$

hes accomplishing nothing.....

I think out of respect they will wait until after his services... tomorrow his body will lie in repose in the Senate chambers for 6 hours . It would be a little odd to have a replacement in during this time...

he changed his vote and cancelled the vote
ONLY so that he can bring it up again, once they have a new WV senator to make 60....
