It seems like the ages of 30-45 are the best for employment prospects. Anything under that means you lack the necessary experience, anything over that & you're just too old. That's the way employers see it.

Congrats!! Best of luck with your move too...It's terrible to have to take such a pay cut, but it's much better than sitting there wondering "when" you will get a job, how you'll pay your bills, where will I get money from, etc.....something, althought much less, is better than ZERO dollars at all!!!

yes, you are right. missing the appropriate salary but NOT missing hours spent doing useless online searches and eating thru the savings.
