Hello guys, I usually receive my claim form 2-3 days after receiving my payment. The last payment was Wednesday July 11th and today is Saturday. Normally, i get a claim form in the mail either Friday or Saturday, but to come to my surprise, I entered a state of panic when there is nothing in the mail for me today. I really have no choice but to wait til Monday, but is this common and has this delay happened to anyone before?

Are you required to fill out paper claim forms because of part time work or something?

If not, just use web or telcert and stop messing with them.

While I'm not in CA, do those paper claim forms come with prepaid postage, because if not, that's another reason not to mess with them.

I'm California: I received my claim form three weeks ago, had phone interview a week later and received my debit card yesterday, but did not receive a continued claim form, nor did I receive it today. I wrote EDD about this, but am hoping to get a quicker answer here. Thanks

Your claim is still being processed. Probably a hold up on the employer response to EDD.

I really don't mean to be a pain, but when I get nutted up I get confused. What do you mean "still being processed". Do you mean they are still processing the paperwork?

I can't make it any plainer than this.

I cant make it any plainer than this comment was not needed. That form is money for people. Im going to ask another question and if you answer i ask that snide remarks are not included.

Even though i received a debit card with funds on, that dies not mean i was approved for EDD. This is my first time dealing with the new sysytem so I am very confused and EDD doesnt make things clear at all.

Thank tou for your time.

I know the frustration because we were all in that same boat..and almost a year later, I'm still having questions. Emotional sensitivity can clearly cloud our own judgments and we tend to overanalyze. Just take the comments as face value =) They wouldn't comment unless they wanted to help.
