What if they don't 'show' do I win by default? Also just got an eligibility review notice in the mail was praying it was my date ughhh. What's the point of this??
What if my employer doesn't show for my hearing do I win by default? Also, got a eligibility review notice in the mail what's this all about? This department is broken im about to go down there and find out.
So far, in the case of a discharge, an employer no-show has pretty much guaranteed a win. However, just remember, that if you start admitting stuff, it may not matter that the employer didn't show because there may be enough from what you said to be disqualified.
I have no idea what an "eligibility review" at this point would be about. I'd always been of the opinion that while disqualified that states didn't waste their time on these things since you aren't currently being paid. I always figured they waited until after benefits were granted to ratch things up.
