Recently I got approved for unemployment and have recieved 3 weeks payment so far. I have already found a source of temporary income (temp job) which is greater than my unemployment benefits. This source of income will last me for 2 months, and after that I will become unemployed again.
My question is:
will I just basically need to reopen my unemployment claim once my temporary job finishes? I am in California and it says the claim is good for one year, until December 2014. My understanding is that I should be able to reopen my claim and any remaining money in my claim account will begin to be payed out to me again, until either the claim expires in December 2014 or all the money in the account is payed out.
