My determination letter date is 01/02/2018 I'm sorry that's my first time and I'm really confused why I have to write it up my determination letter date was wrong
What I wrote is sufficient to get a hearing, and that's all you're required to write. Being "WRONG" is a reason. You do NOT want to write more than what I told you.
However, I want you to type in your letter from the state so that I know WHY you were denied so you can plan what you're going to do at your hearing.
This appeal is a REQUEST for a hearing. It's not where you tell your story. That happens with evidence and testimony provided by you and your employer AT the hearing. If you try to do it now, you help your employer, not yourself.
Hello Chyvan, I submitted my Request for Reconsideration on the agency form provided (rather than my own letter). I wrote "The determination date 12/30/17 is wrong. I want an appeal hearing scheduled." What is next? I believe it can take approximately 30 days for an appeal hearing so how do I now prepare a strategy?
The first place to start would be if you typed in your denial letter so that we know WHY you got denied in the first place.
The next step is to get access to the hearing file that is created about the same time as you get the letter advising you of the date and time of your hearing.
You need to know WHY and WHAT you are trying to develop a strategy against.
Hello Chyvan! My telephone hearing is on 01/29/2018! I'm scared to death but I promised myself do not say any thing only when the judge ask me a question and let my company to prove their case. This is my first time and I'm very anxious wish me good luck I keep in touch.
.
Hello. My hearing date with the judge is on January 29th 2018 I'm very anxious because this is my first time I'm going to try to not talkin too much only answer to judge question and let the company to prove their case wish me good luck I will keep in touch
I've asked you about three times to type in your denial letter so we know WHY you got denied. You haven't done it. If you don't know WHY and the potential witnesses and evidence against you, you are going to in all probability lose.
You've discussed nothing about the hearing file or packet, and evidence you may have received from the employer in preparation for the hearing.
Why in the world are you trying to keep everything a secret and not try to get help in presenting the best case possible?
