I got a letter to attend RESEA from Michigan Talent Investment Agency. I actually relocated to another state before I was selected for the program.
I did tell the agency my new address, however no one at the agency was able to tell me what the outcome of this is. I got a fact finding questionnaire "Failure to Attend Resea" with the option to select "moved out of state" so I assuming that I am not the first person to go through this.
Has anyone been in this situation and if so, what was the outcome? I am wondering what to expect here.
If you say you moved out of state they won't expect you to attend. That doesn't mean they may not require you to register/participate with your new state's employment services or similar thing. You do need to tell them otherwise your benefits will get cut off.
