So I work 2 jobs here In Washington state, Walgreens and Starbucks, I have this heart condition called afib and im on medication for it but the medication doesn't seem to be working, I go into afib attacks and lay on the ground and not move till it goes out of fib, so its caused me to lay on the ground at work before or leave work, but I've done this a few times at Walgreens or before work, last week I went into afib at Starbucks and went home and layed for 3 hours till it went out of fib and had to call out of Walgreens, but now Walgreens is telling me if I keep calling out I Ill get fired because of their attendance policy, I can't go to urgent care or ER every time I go into afib, if I did they would tell me not to go to work, but that's just not a possible thing to do consistently, and im worried about getting fired cause I can't afford rent and insurance and car payment just working at Starbucks, im only 21 and have no family here, what are my options? I think I don't have any more call outs aloud! Thank you!
Contact your state agency or any local advocacy group on disability and ask them to assist you in writing a Request for a Reasonable Accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act to you employer. The specifics of the Act, what is reasonable, how it will be handled, etc., is just too much to go into here.

In addition to the above contact your cardiologist. Today.
What happens if I get fired though? They said the attendance policy is their policy no matter what that they follow, so if I call out and go into afib what do I do when I get fired I’m so scarwd
No. You have not even looked at the excellent advice above apparently about trying to work with your employer on a reasonable accomodation . . .Maybe there is one and maybe not. But they do not "owe" you a job.

I'm sorry to hear about your condition, but think about the LONG-term, your LIFE!
Take the advise and see a doctor, you may be eligible for some type of disability if what you've mentioned prevents you from working.
I hate to say don't worry about the job.. but yeah, worry about your life FIRST!
No matter what way these current jobs go, I'm sorry and hopefully you can work something out with them... If they no longer want to employ you than you may be eligible for Unemployment... but like all the folks have said here... Doctor up, I think only one person mentioned the truth, more than your job is at stake... you are YOUNG!
This may come off as insensitive, but I'm going to mention it anyway. Outside of what others have already told you, about getting on stronger or possibly new medication. Seeing, your still having severe reactions at your workplace. I would suggest getting on disability, if your medical condition cant be controlled enough to work a steady job. I have worked for a company, where I had to look over people's finances to approve them for credit cards. Alot of those on disability make a decent amount, and they seem like they function quite well in society. So I see you having no problem being approved for it, because you have the documentation and all the problems to facilitate your claim. Just a suggestion.
