There's no such thing as a missng link (except in old Bugs Bunny cartoons and the minds of creationists), and since Darwin's day plenty of transitional fossils have been found that fill in the gaps in various evolutionary lineages ... Including the hominids.

Have fossils been found to fill all of the gaps? Are no creatures missing?

Of course there are creatures missing and that is why we are still looking. Here is a link that will show that there are currently 51 dig sites in North America: Archaeology Digs 2015 - Upcoming and Ongoing Field Opportunities.

PS I hate About.com. Here is another link: https://www.archaeological.org/fieldwork

My point is there are 1000s of sightings and I'm sure some folks are lying but not everyone is. The Indians were not all lying...the missionaries of yesterday, Teddy and the mountain men weren't all lying. They had no reason to and then of the 1000s of people that have seen them...there are 1000s more that have not reported what they have seen...are they lying too?

Gulf Coast BigFoot Research Organization's Message Board:...
Not only that..did you know the little green people have landed and taken over Wash. DC?

OH, so perhaps some of those missing creatures were responsible for killing other missing creatures? Interesting....

Aggressiveness of Southern Bigfoot

General Infomation from GCBRO

The aggressiveness of the Southern Bigfoot is another factor that separates the Northern Bigfoot
from the Southern Bigfoot. Several instances of saplings being ripped out of the ground and
thrown at campers and people being struck by these animals have been reported; mobile homes
being hit and dented, leaving the knuckle prints of the animal on the metal covering of the home.
Some witnesses have found their outdoor pet food containers torn apart, or smashed flat. After the
food was all eaten. Herds of cattle and horses have been tormented to the point of stampeding.
These types of mischievous behaviors are one of the trademarks of the
Southern Bigfoot, and these are just a few.

People say blobsquatch over and over but when will some look at the aggressiveness of this creature?

That's right, so when you have two similar fossils with a gap of 100 million years and a transitional fossil is found that supposedly fits half-way between, then what you end up with is only a 50 million year gap either way. And nothing much ever happens during a 50 million year timespan, right?

It depends. Some primates have changed a lot in 50 million years. Sharks, alligators, turtles, many kinds of bacteria, etc., etc., etc. ... not so much. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" often applies to evolution as well.

Heh. Funny you should mention that ....... during that period of extended camping I wrote about, the one with the screamer ....... I also saw a crop circle in the meadow only maybe 150 yards from camp. Of course those were associated with UFOs in some peoples' minds, and pranksters in other's.

It seemed a bit crude though, so I suspect it was from some locals with ropes, boards, and too much time on their hands.

As long as I'm bringing up oddities from that time, I should mention that one time the camp was trashed and a tent trampled, there was an enormous purplish turd in my barbecue pit, and oddest of all was a can of beans that been torn open spirally along its entire length and emptied very cleanly, no beans or sauce on the can or the ground.

By the way, everything I've said about that time is completely true without exaggeration ....... but I put it down to ordinary explanations, no Bigfoots or UFOs needed to explain it all.

Have you tried to tear open a can of beans that way?
