The curvature of the earth can be seen during a lunar eclipse since the earth's shadow is cast upon the face of the moon, and that shadow is curved.

Good post! You can't beat the star trail evidence. And a flat dist would pose problems with every view of every celestial object (not so much comets) and the earth's shadow always being a perfect circle or semi-circle. That and the crescent shape of Venus - and the moon sometimes. Hell, there is just no chance for a flat earth! But it's fun debating it.
Many of the sciences we use depend upon the fact the earth is spherical. In my job, we navigate routes based upon this. We use the GPS satellite constellation as a position finder, which itself is limited by the earth being spherical. Weather patterns are large influenced by a round earth (corialis force, difference of season in northern vs southern hemispheres), limitations in certain radio frequency transmissions due to earth curvature, the sustained orbits of satellites, ISS, space shuttles etc depend in part upon a round planet, and so on. So much of the what we know in modern science, and the way it benefits our modern conveniences, rely on the basis of a spherical earth. I just cannot comprehend people not being able to grasp basic middle school level science.

According to the Flat Earth claims, the North Polar ice cap is located at the center of the flat Earth disk, and the outer edge or rim of the flat Earth is surrounded by the South Polar ice cap wall. Such a view certainly raises questions.
If the Earth is flat, would that mean the Earth is a 2-dimensional disk?
Are people also 2-dimensional, like Flatlanders?
What does the other side of the Flat Earth disk look like?

That raises a very interest philosophical issue. If a tree is in a 2 dimensional forest, can it fall if there is no one to see it fall?

I am a photo imaging expert and can tell you all the globe earth images and the earth from (fake) moon landing images are NOT real. They are CGI (computer generated images).
Why does NASA need to produce CGI when it can just show real photos? Because they have none.
I also used to work in the satellite industry and can tell you that satellites in the sky are fake. Nothing in reality can orbit in air. If there were actual satellites in the sky why would google and other "corporations" need to use planes to take photos of the earth or to spy on other countries?
There's supposed to be more than 35,000 satellites orbiting earth. The above CGI gives you a general idea of how cluttered it should appear. Where do they all go when these real globe earth pictures are taken?
Since i'm already hated by the herd on this forum without having insulted anyone, let's just up the hatred even further by telling all of you I give more credence to bible scriptures than "science." The sun is not 93 million miles away. The moon creates it's own light. You are not living on a floating ball.

I agree that insults aren't necessary. With respect to your comment about prefabricated responses, aren't you also making prefabricated statements that have been claimed by others regarding the view that the Earth is flat? What I mean is that you're not presenting anything new that hasn't been presented elsewhere before. All it takes to Google the subject.

While describing the shape of the Earth as an oblate spheroid is technically correct, you're quite right that it does indeed like like a ball. It has to do with the tidal tugging effects between the Earth and the Moon as the Moon orbits the Earth. The distortion in shape is barely noticeable though because the Earth itself is very large. The distortion in comparison is relatively slight, but still enough to have an effect.
