I don't see it that way. Nick Clegg is now officially the king maker. He has a hell of a lot of power right now - looks like he is going to decide who is the next PM - whoever Nick Clegg crawls into bed with is going to be the running the country - that's a lot of power for one little boy to wield!!

Sounds like the US Government, sadly.

Nick Clegg wants one thing and one thing only and that is electoral reform with PR coming in. Last night, senior Labour figures like Mandelson were clearly willing to go down that road. However, I doubt the Tories are as willing. Also, looks like the SNP are also talking to Labour if the BBC is to be believed:

BBC News - Alex Salmond ready to 'talk about talks' with Labour

Equally interesting is the number of votes the BNP and the UKIP got. Between them they have almost 1.5 million. Not a huge number in the grand scheme of things but a very big increase over 2005.

The long term consequences of Gordon Brown trying to hang on to power could be significant.

At last! One sane politician in westminster. Now will she have the guts to tell it like it really is? I'm also interested in whether we get a referendum on PR.

More likely she will "sell" her vote to achieve one or more "green" objectives. She will never get a better opportunity

In terms of rhetoric, there are differences. However, it's being argued by many that when it comes to actual governance, there isn't a spits worth difference between the two.
