Today my car was towed at 4am I called the towing company and they told me it was towed because my license plates were expired. I told him that those license plates were not expired and the man Andrew told me he would take a picture of it and text it to me as I was talking to him while he was walking to the car there was silence and he noticed that my license is not expired didn't expire until April 2017 he told me that they would bring my car back to me and I didn't get it till 6 p.m. that night it was towed from apartment complex is it legal for them to do?

My car was towed from my complex, but my plates are currently registered for another year. Someone stole my decal without my knowing. My car is registered with the complex to whom I provided a current copy of my registration. By the way I had to pay to register my car with the complex. No warning was given to me, they just towed my car from in front of my door.

Sue! You can sue! Simple. Money talks, everything else walks.

Here's another option: Feed your meter and keep your car licensed.
