I am interested to know if starting an upscale steak and chop house in Heber would be needed. The restaurant would be similar to Peter Luger, Ruths Chris and Craft Steak but not charging $85-95 per person. Please let me know your thougths.

Default Why Heber?

Not sure if you have done your research on Heber. It was growing by leaps and bounds but with the housing market coming to a schreeching halt, Heber has really hit a wall. It's a small town, with small town mentality for the most part, and I wouldn't suspect there'd be enough customers to keep an "upscale" restaurant in business in Heber. You are really limited being in Heber as you wouldn't really get any spill over from Park City...who's going to go to Heber from Park City for dinner? And it's too far from SLC to get much regular business. I can think of other places with a bigger need and bigger population base....Just my $.02

Yeah! Tooele County needs a good steakhouse. Tired of having to go to Salt Lake for a nice steak dinner!
