My grandmother on my mother's side died in Ogden back in 1950. After she died, my mother and her siblings were moved back east to live with their grandmother. My mother hasn't seen her mother's grave in 60 years. Mom's health is not the best, so travelling all the way to Utah is not an option. I was wondering if someone out there would be willing to take a nice high res photo of the grave and e-mail it to me so I can show it to her and add it to our family album? It would mean alot to us.

My grandmother's name was Margaret Billie Davis. She was born July 25, 1918 and died July 11, 1950. She is buried somewhere in Ogden City Cemetery. I wish I could give you an idea where the grave is located within the cemetery but that's all I have. I know it's a big cemetery.

Any takers?

(PS you get extra karma points if you can get a GPS reading for the grave. Thanks)

Interesting, I probably could get that for you, though I have no GPS, I do live near there.

No *need* for a GPS.

Go to that cemetery.
Find the grave stone, and try to *remember* exactly where it is with reference the Cemetery entry and the access roads.
Now use Google Earth, and see if you can find it again.
Put you cursor on the Grave Stone.
You can *see* the coordinates on the bottom of the screen on Google Earth.

I'll be going to Utah to see my family sometime in April, including a trip to Ogden to see an old friend. I can probably look for it for you. Let me know!
