I saw a report of a Male substitute teacher who was dressing as a woman and worked at 13 different schools over a 19 day period before being caught, the Evergreen school district says that they are OK with this? I would pull my kids out of school until this nut is removed.He/she was caught at Wy East middle school. Any opinions?

Here's your information. The teacher didn't get "caught", the Evergreen school district has always known he is a man, and he wasn't dressing as a woman. He was wearing capri pants to work.

Law protects cross-dressing teacher | The Columbian

MALE TEACHER WORE WOMEN'S PANTS TO SCHOOL

A male substitute teacher who wore women’s pants to school did not violate any district guidelines and will continue to be part of Evergreen Public School’s substitute teaching force, an administrator said Friday.

“A key point for people to think about: There is an RCW that prohibits discrimination against protected classifications, and that includes gender expression or identity,” Brosius said.

RCW 28A.642.010 defines the discriminations that are prohibited in Washington’s public schools.

“Discrimination in Washington public schools on the basis of race, creed, religion, color, national origin, honorably discharged veteran or military status, sexual orientation including gender expression or identity, the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a person with a disability is prohibited,” the law reads.

If a teacher has inappropriate dress, it is the responsibility of the administration to make sure that teacher wears less distracting clothing. The whole point of the school system is to educate children, not a jobs program for a bunch of C student union lackeys. This sub needs to dress like a man, or get a new career. If the administration supports this distraction, then it is time for the voters to fire them.

Agreed. We need to make sure to enforce our individual views on how men should dress on everyone around us. Anything different from self assumed norms is dangerous to our children and must be stamped out before it can impress any sense of individuality on our impressionable youth!

I know of a few men who have multiple sclerosis that wear capri style pants or knee length shorts at all times. This is due to a particularly painful sensitivity of the skin on the shins and calves of their legs and contact with fabrics on the lower parts of the legs is quite unbearable.
