I seriously doubt it. I've never even heard of St. Louis style pizza until this thread. Most of the high end pizza places around here will be of the wood fire/brick oven type doing normal hand-tossed yeast dough.
Don't know about that style. A new Blind Onion Pizza opened in Vancouer WA, it's really good, great crust. We previously had to go to the Portland location for their pizza, but they've now opened up one or two locations this side of the Columbia. Anyway, the new one is real good.
Hmm maybe an opportunity then. It's "St. Louis style" but I am familiar with it from Ohio. Fair amount of midwesterners out here now plus the appeal of something new for everyone else. Not that I myself want to get into the restaurant biz.
I've asked quite a few people around here and haven't found it yet. I have a friend who is in a pizza meetup and seems to know every place in Portland metro and he doesn't know of one.

to be honest- after living in the midwest for 5 years and being from the west coast, "st louis style" is really an acquired taste. Even my friends in STL think so; so i wouldn't see that being a trend here personally. But you could certainly make one at home!

Yeah, I love it but I can see that it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. I'm sure there isn't enough market for a place to specialize in that.
