what do You, local people, think?
esp. for those of you who grew up in Vancouver.
never been to Vancouver. or to the American continent for that matter.
to me it seems, the city has really been trying for the longest time to start approaching the situation from a different angle: you cant say no to drug users, you have to accept them.
but does attitude like this bring in new junkies who would not become included in the hard drugs world + junkies from around the country/world who hear of a paradise in their terms?
edit: Vancouver residents (lifetime and newcomers) can also express their views on marijuana consumption in personal amounts, which is practically accepted by the majority of the residents of the city / metro area? is that true, in that people understand that marijuana usually has nothing to do with stuff like meth/heroin/crack and their general consumption/distribution? excluding gang trafficking who will traffic anything for money, of course.
