Vegan string cheese recipes (online, find)

I've gotten fairly proficient at vegan cheeses lately, but I can't seem to find a recipe for anything that would resemble string cheese. But I am having a crazy craving for it. Any recipe ideas or vegan cheeses that would stay that firm? I can't seem to find any good ones online and was hoping someone may have some ideas!

Hm, let me think about that one. There may be a couple recipes that can work.

You might check out onegreenplanet.org, there are a lot of bloggers there that have posted cheese recipes, maybe one of them you could adapt for string cheese. Under the recipe monster tab, there is an article for 20 vegan cheeses. Maybe the Gouda one could work.
