Jeeze, not even knowing as basic a word as bathroom? She must have been fresh off the freight train and in need of a towel. Or unwilling to assimilate. Most likely choice #2.

Maybe both She was definately a very new "arrival." Kind of annoying since my niece applied to work there and was turned away. At least she can speak the language. But I digress

Vincenzo's Pizza has some pretty yummy food

Very cool! Not too fond of seafood, but I'll be checking out Howie's once it opens

Starting to get hungry now. Thinking about popping in to Yolanda's Mexican Cafe for some enchiladas and deep fried ice cream. Mmmmmmmmm!

Ventura County holds the dubious distinction of having three restaurants featured on Kitchen Nightmares.

The Secret Garden in Moorpark
Mama Rita's in NP
Sushi-Ko in TO

Anyone here with any experience at those places?

I think Sushi-Ko closed before the episode even aired. Nate and Als deli is in the same spot.

Been to Mama Rita's, nice place. It is out of the way and the shopping center they are in is nearly empty.
