We have a family wedding in Manchester VT this spring. We need either 3 rooms (3 couples) or a house or suite, etc. All the hotels seem to be small or bed and breakfast types. Anyone know of a place we can rent or a hotel nearby? Thanks.

In 2008, we stayed at the North Shire Lodge which I don't believe is in Manchester proper, but is on the main highway just South of town. More of a motel type set-up and tho we usually opt for something with more amenities right on site like a restaurant, pool, bar, etc, would highly recommend it to anyone. I think they kind of had a byob lounge/deck and served a hot breakfast in the morning. Very homey atmosphere and set back from the road far enough to be on it's own. This was from the hill that the Lodge sits on taken one October morning...

Equinox is pricey.

Before I moved to Manchester, we stayed at Aspen Motel...very clean.

DH and I stayed at the sister property of this Inn last Fall - Barrow's House. Both B&B's are unbelievable. We absolutely loved Dorset. I would highly recommend either of these places.

very nice place gushing New England ambiance, was on our short list of accomodations but we did make a point to have breakfast here one morning and couldn't have had a better experience.

Has anyone stayed at the Inn at Ormsbry Hill? I'm staying there for a few days this summer and super-excited!
