BF feels dead while you are playing it. Yes, the maps are big but whats worse is spawning, it takes too long and it just feels stupid. No adventure, etc.
Jumped off the COD wagon after MW 2. They are just throwing recycled crap at us and are in it for the easy money grab. If they would start innovating again I would be more than happy to play another Cod. (MW3 looks the same as MW2 and BOPS)
I enjoyed Battlefield 2 but it got old pretty quick. Not enough varity in maps. Battlefield 3 looks amazing but gameplay looks like another generic FPS.
I promise 9/10 wont reply Battlefield. Have a clan of about 70 people myself and there has been very little interest shown in BF3.
I have hated the BF series that I played, maps are too big and boring. Dont want to run around for 20 minutes to die, and spawn again to run around again. The whole no prone(sp) and leaning stuff killed off that title for me.
Your post makes no since. Most PC users don't play COD. If you don't want to run jump in a tank or a chopper. BF3 will be epic while MW3 will be same thing running around in circles like a hamster.

Let me spell it out for you. Majority of my clan have voted to play MW3 over BF3. Thats probably 7/10 in favour of MW3 vs yours (or somebodys statement) that 9/10 people will chose BF3 over MW3. If you dont understand that then I will do my best to clarify it for you even further.
The only people I know who are more excited about BF3 are those few on this thread. EVERYONE else I know who are gamers, and I mean EVERYONE, are much more excited about MW3.
I tried BF Bad Company (I think) and it sucked compared to MW2. SUCKED!!!! Seemed everyone wanted to just be snipers and the pace was slow. Played it on Monday shelved it on Tuesday and never played again.
I play on Xbox360 (dont do PC games as all my comps are Macs). Sure MW3 will have the same losers who mod their systems/controllers, boost, etc. but even with the cheaters, it'll still more than likely be much more fun than BF3.
BF3 is the superior game. Cod is a casual game for people who are just starting out playing FPS. Take off your training wheels, and play a game that actualy take skill. Kinda gives you an idea of the difference in popularity between the to games doesnt it? Bottom line is, MW3 is off the charts on FUN FACTOR which is why I buy games. BF is just not fun. Turn on ESPN and you see a lot of MW3 commercials and hear a LOT of talk from professional and college athletes about MW. Nary a mention of BF. But thats okay.
