NEW YORK (Reuters) — Japan's Nintendo expects to have more of its Wii game consoles available in the U.S. this holiday season, but stopped short of guaranteeing there will be no shortages of the popular device.

and probably fewer people who can afford to buy them in these times. great timing

I think people would have been more willing to drop almost $300+ on a game system last year, before the s%^* hit the fan, but I try to never underestimate the power of a screaming, spoiled child

ETA: having said all that, I'll probably buy one this year, lord knows I can't really afford one, but it'll keep my mind off of the impending doom
