Yes - I once took a dearly beloved kitty to the University of Tennessee Veternary College at the recommendation of my cat's veterinarian. He received the kindest, most thorough, state-of-the art treatment there. He did not have cancer, but did have a condition which led to an estimated life expectancy of six weeks without the surgery he needed (which could not be provided locally).

Following his surgery and treatment, he lived another 14 months.

Even if the outcome is not as good with your cat, if you take her to a vet college, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you did all that was possible for her.

Best wishes to you and your kitty.

You will need to weigh the advantage of treatments (if any), with possible discomfort, pain and suffering, (in other words, quality of your kitty's life) before making a decision. If treatments will make the cat sick and miserable, but keep her alive a few more weeks, is it worth it TO THE CAT? You don't want you cat to die...I totally understand...but you don't want to make her suffer for YOUR benefit.
