Although still eligible and properly submitting claims, I stopped getting unemployment checks - trying to find out why is hopeless so far as they just put you on hold (forever). On the news someone said they heard VA is "broke" and so can't pay. Are you kidding me?? Anyone up on this?

I doubt the state has run out of money to pay valid claims. More than likely you were cut off because you no longer qualify. If you can't get through to the government office that handles this you should call your state delegate or senator.

State govt. is coming to standstill under McConnell. You should see behind the scenes. You have not seen anything yet.

No, pls note the OP. I qualify. Anyway yeah I have written the Governor's office so we'll see. If I don't get a response soon I'll try Congressmen.

This is so ridiculous though. Classic VA.
