Hey folks!

So I had a question about the MD procedure when moving. I've poured through their DMV links and found them largely confusing and unhelpful. I understand I need to get a new registration and license. But I need to get the cars title changed as well??? The car is about a year old, i bought it in Delaware and its registered there. Does anyone know what the fee for the excise tax will be??? I don't know DE's vehicle tax & tags rate, I know sales tax was 0%. Anyone ever done this before?

Thanks!

Jim

Jim,
You have to re-do everything you did in DE at a much higher MD price tag. Sales tax is 6% and you'll have to pay that. Get ready for the price of MD car insurance.

Good luck with that website; it's a joke until you figure it out.

Good luck.
