My brother also a product of PG County Schools until high school, then went to Georgetown Prep, then UMD, then Durham Law (UK), and then OXford MBA (UK). We are both doing ok for ourselves lol.

I lived in Brasil, and the UK (I have residences in both), and when i settled down I decided to come back and i now live in Woodmore, right down the road from Lake Arbor where my parents still live. My daughter is in kindergarten and attends Woodmore elementary school, i LOVE the teachers and the school so far, so my 2cents. And i could have lived anywhere in the country i want to!

It seems as insecurity when i hear people bashing the county, because it is really nice here. With increased amenities, this area would be perfect. To be fair i will be moving to NYC in the next year due to work, but i will maintain my residence in Woodmore as I am bullish on the area. At the price point it is a great investment.
sound like you turned out alright despite what the folks think about PG. I also went to Tulip grove>Kingsford when it first opened>Kettering>then Largo>then flowers when it first opened

So you're saying there isn't a thing wrong with PG county schools and everything is fine?

What does that have to do with the topic again? And you live where?

Serious question. Do you not understand that they are speaking on a particular area of the county? Or do you just choose to ignore that to get your troll on?

I'll take a point.

PG County and Baltimore public schools are the only two school systems in the state with graduation rates below 80 %.

What idiocy lol. How come people only complain about diversity when something is majority Black? Show me the demographics of Bethesda, Glenecho, Potomac or Poolesville ? As far as schools that area is the best for school options in PG County. Close to 3 very good private schools, two test in HS Programs and close to several specialty K-8 programs

DC graduation rate isn't even 70 percent, I guess no one should move to Georgetown or Dupont Circle lol

Yes they do lol. If they don't they have private schools available just like Black people in Prince Georges County do. So what exactly is your point? Plenty of Black kids in Bowie, Glendale go to schools like Gonzaga as the Marc Train from Bowie & New Carrollton is a straight shot to Union Station which is a block away from Gonzaga. Again idiocy lol
