If you want the rural life, definitely St. Mary's.

PG County is not country at all. It's a spread out version of South Central LA, filled with drugs, crime, gangs, and illegal immigrants.

Terrapin22: Pg countyis nothing like south central I know that for a fact. Please donot judge an entire county because of one or two not so good neighborhoods. How dare you? I can tell you know nothing about the county. Please do your reseach on the county first. Pg county is developing faster then any other county in Maryland with all 100% upscale development and communities.
Drugs,Crimes,Illegal immigrants are all over the country so for you to say pg county have these issues and no other county you are crazy.
Pg do have its issues in certain areas only but if you move in the other safe areas in pg county you will be 100% safe. I feel 100% safe to where I turn my alarm on because I know no one will break in my home. i feel 100% safe in my community so for you to judge the entire county as if the entire county have no class and fill with crime is 150% wrong and you need to stop with all these lies.

Once the page opens... click on the red search for crime button on the top left hand corner. Then a box will open at the bottom of the page where you can insert an address and choose what type of crimes you are searching for from a drop down menu.

South central LA? You're kidding! LA is a LOT more dangerous than PG County! I would peg B'more as more South central LA, but I don't even think B'more's that bad...

The rural crescent of Prince Georges County is like St. Mary's, Charles and Calvert. Towns to look for are Croom, Aquasco, and Baden and they are all close to Eagle Harbor. Hughesville is right across Swanson Creek.
