I really hate the nightlife in DC. Most of the clubs are tiny and hardly any play trance and house music. The crowd is quite ghetto and unclassy. Most don't dress nicely and the dudes are always groping the girls. No class whatsoever. I so miss the classy NYC nightlife. My vent for today.

Yes, if you're into clubs, I guess the DC nightlife sucks. However, for my tastes (I don't do clubs, but like unique bars, sports bars and lounges) DC suits me just fine.

I'd rather get my teeth pulled than go to a "club" anywhere.

I think the bars here suck too. I went to a Biergarten in Greenwhich village last week. It was awesome. Nothing like that here in DC.

Wish I could...I am in a good job here. If the economy was roaring like it was before, I would have definitely lived in NYC.

Explore DC some more, there may be other places you're missing.

You may need to do some more exploring before becoming an expert on the DC club and bar scene.
Oh I hadn't realized that it had opened. I will go check it out. Is it in a "safe" part? The one in Greenwich village is safe as safe can be.
