We lived in baltimore before moving to NoVa - we loved it and only moved cause of a job. Ive lived in bolton hill and the canton waterfront - in addition to enjoying those downtown areas, we also liked Mt Washington, charles village, and some other areas.
Now that we are empty nesters, we are considering the possibility of moving back - probably will only consider areas a short walk to Penn station or camden station (my current fave area to consider living in is Ridgelys Delight). Not much worse a commute than from NoVa. Of course if we can find a good deal closer in here, in Alex or some up and coming (
) part of DC, we might not move to Baltimore.
havent been to philly in a while. Aside from the historic areas, and the univ, we also enjoy walking around society hill.
