I'm not sure if this attachment is allowed (mods please delete if this isn't cool) - I don't work for and am not any way associated with Chevrolet.

Anyway, I really like Will Hoge's song rendition in this new Chevy commercial, and after watching it and doing some digging, I found out that apparently about half of this commercial is filmed in Washington (the other half in Texas).

I'm fairly certain that the scene with the father and son looking over the cliff on the tailgate is from around Coulee City. And I think the shot where the guy driving the new Chevy waves to the old guy in the old Chevy is filmed on the road going through Palisades (just SE of Wenatchee).

Anyone else agree? Or recognize any other shots of our state?

Looks like they filmed going up Moses Coulee. There is also a shot just north of Soap Lake.

I think this is the third or fourth car commercial filmed in the area.

The real question is where they found a sawmill!! Now there's an endangered species.

I have seen them in Peshastin and Republic but can't say if that is one of those.

Both those mills are closed.

Peshastin been closed for over two decades now. I believe Republic closed 5-10 years ago.

We still have 3 mills going strong in the Colville/Kettle area - actually 5 mills, but 3 are owned by Boise Cascade. Although I don't recognize the one on the commercial, so I don't think it's one of ours.

I have driven that road many times so I sort of recognized the spot at seconds 43 and 44 of the commercial. It is near the Devil's punchbowl on Hwy 155. You can see the exact spot here on google maps.

Nice! At first, I thought that shot was Highway 28 between Wenatchee and Quincy, but you are right - you got the exact spot! Beautiful area right there.

Good job finding the exact location! Gorgeous country out that way!!! I just drove on that stretch of highway a couple of weeks ago, too! Granted it was dark at the time, but I've been along there in broad daylight in the past too.
