I'm not sure if this works for the Washington forum but since it's going on in Washington it seems like the right place. Someone has been torturing, killing, and mutilating cats in the area, six known so far. The FBI is even getting involved because people who do things like this often go on to hurt humans. If you own outdoor cats you may want to keep them indoors until this sick individual is caught. Let your friends and neighbors with cats know too. https://q13fox.com/2018/08/03/anothe...urston-county/

I live in Everett and we've had several cats killed in horrific ways around us. It seems that people are just catching up on it, but the other day someone posted on Facebook that they found several in an abandoned home and my sister who lives in Sacramento says they just sent similar warnings out down there because 20 cats have been found throughout the city in one weekend!

I hope this is just a single individual that gets caught and not some new underground thing going around. I do remember when I was a kid about 10 years ago a group of teens did this one summer trying to start something because they were bored and it went viral, but no adults caught on until it was too late because the kids kept the secret online and by the time it was big no one wanted to get in trouble for knowing the whole time.

That is sad, musicfamly5. I hope whoever the killer is/the killers are, that they get caught, and soon.

I doubt this is the case. The deaths could be attributed to raccoons or coyotes, and racoons in particular can be viscious and hunt in packs.
