I would choose perth, more sunshine, drier.

Brisbane for the slightly warmer winters though Perth isn't terrible either.

Perth.... but as a place to live....its just so isolated! Is there anywhere with a comparable population more isolated?!

Perth easily, seems to have an early lead in the poll before all the subtropical heat lovers appear.
Perth has a more well defined cool season, and summer temperatures are more comfortable than Brisbane due to lack of humidity.

Both are great climates, but Perth is more like B+; Brisbane A-. Both great fun.

When I was younger, I always thought Perth was some ultra-hot desert with no rain and always sunny.. guess I was wrong.
