Sunsets will only get earlier by 5 minutes before they start to get later again. Sunrises, however, will get later by an additional 27 minutes before they start to get earlier again.
I'm currently watching a cross-country skiing race on TV from Kuusamo, northern Finland (65N). It's about 12.30 pm there and sunset isn't until 13:56, but it hasn't got more than half-light the whole day. Looks a very beautiful, very Christmassy stark landscape
