I really notice the difference in how long the light lasts between a sunny evening and a fully overcast one at this time of year. If it's clear I can read outside after 10 pm no problem, not so if it's cloudy. First 17-hour day coming up on the 9th.

That sunrise time is just insane. I'd love to go for a stroll at 4:30 am just to see what it's like to be in daylight and have it still be so early (I assume most ppl are still sleeping at this time?)
Here, although the sunrise is at 6:26, there's a big hill blocking the morning sun, plus the thick shade, so there's not a whole lot of light in the house to after 7 or so, even on clear mornings. We're getting twilight well past 9 pm though, which is pretty good for 34 degrees of latitude .

I used to love doing that for the oddness of having the whole town to myself, lol. I remember going for a bike ride around the country roads here at about 4 am on a bright blue morning and only seeing one car for about two hours.
I was up at about 3 am a week or two ago and the sky was starting to go blue, but essentially once the sunrises go before about 7.30 am in February it's all the same to me for all the little I normally see of that time in the morning.
This is the brightest the early mornings can get here: taken at 3.46 am on 15th June, 50 minutes before the sun rises.
