It looks as though the weather will turn nasty until midday tomorrow, with 150 kmh/90 mph winds, heavy rain and thunder. The last 3 days have been grim. The bananas are going to be toast (methinks).

I will have to crank up the fireplace in the shed, and drink a few cold ones while (hopefully) watching some good lightning.

After another day of humid heat (30C/86F), today was almost winter like in Sydney with persistent light rain and a 20C/68F max. Sydney can be dynamic like that, but not as good as Melbourne.

Fresh snow on the hills down to about 1100m/3300ft. It looks quite thick as well- 2ft maybe.

The wind has turned nice and warm just now, so the snow shouldn't last too long.

What a bloody disgusting end to summer and start to Autumn. Overcast for SIX days in a row, rain, drizzle, the freaking works. High temps as cold as 20C aswell. FERAL

Ofcourse, today starts off fully overcast as usual, boring mind-numbing lame ass light rain and at 11am it looks like its 7am because it's so freaking DARK outside

It looks like "banana season" is over. I'd certainly be enjoying the strong winds .

I agree.
The bananas survived remarkably unscathed, with only a few getting trashed, and still have another 3 months of good growth before they slow right down. The wind wasn't as bad here as forecast, with max gusts only around the 100 kph/60mph mark. I do enjoy a good gale once in a while, but the bananas are cause for apprehension, they were in perfect condition until a few days ago.

6th overcast day in a row and below average cold temps. Most of those days were laden with gay drizzle aswell. Pathetic icebucket hellhole climate

As is typical, Perrrfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff fffffffffffffffffffffffffff is still enjoying high summer with 36C days everyday and 20C+ nights with full sunshine.
