It's rarely ever gotten to 100 F here, although there has been at least one 100 F day in the past 2 years, which is unusual. I don't think we'll get one this year, 95 F is my prediction for maximum temperature this year.
Luckily it's never been that hot here. It got up to 33° C a few times during the last two infernal (hottest ever recorded) summers and I hope it never happens again. With 100% humidity and no air conditioning anywhere it's hell on earth.
I would expect Estonia has never recorded a 33C dewpoint
Where I live it can reach over 100f
Not every year though.
Last July was a hot one, average high almost 31c / 87f
well above our normal July avg high 28c / 82f
July 21st 2011 was the hottest day, the high was 39c / 102f
low that day was a balmy 26c / 79f
Nearby Toronto had a record warm low of 27c
I remember watering my plants at 6:30 am and it
already felt hot with the high humidity
Humidex peaked at 50c
I deliberately went out in my backyard that afternoon
just to experience that kind of heat ,
it felt like being in an oven
In Canada the absolute highest record temps are
in the west, 115f in Saskatchewan, 112f in Alberta
BC interior has hit 110f in Lytton.
Usually a drier heat though, not so bad
Other thing I'd like to point out, many places in tropics
have never reached 100f.
Both Canada and Russia have places that
have had temps far higher than most tropical places have experienced,
as strange as that might sound
Not one day hit 100F during the summer, throughout Newcastle and the Lower Hunter Valley - this would be almost unheard of here.
Highest temps have been 37.3C at Newcastle Airport and 37.4C at Cessnock, both in early January 2012.
The number of days over 30C and 35C last summer was exceptionally low, right across NSW.
The chances of breaking the 100F barrier in November or December this year though are very high, as you generally see some very hot, though short-lived bursts.
