Both of these climates are 25 degrees from the equator (Adamstown is 25S and Nassau is 25N).
Definitely Adamstown as it is more comfortable and the distribution of rain isn't as predictable as it is in Nassau. It's also interesting summer is generally drier there.
Nassau also has hurricane risk which would be annoying for daily life.
Geographically these two locations are subtropical but their climates are definitely tropical.
I think I like Adamstown more than Christmas Island actually. Christmas Island is pretty wet and too warm in the winter but considering its latitude and location, it's impressively mild and still a good choice if I were to live somewhere with a tropical climate.
Technically, Nassau is subtropical because its located above the Tropic of Cancer and gets chilly every now and then.
Did you not read the OP? They are at the same latitude, so both are outside of the direct overhead summer solstice sun. You have to get over your obsession with lines of latitude and realize that is not the be all end all of climate classification. Not by a long shot. How bout the climate on top of Hawaii's highest peak, is that tropical?
