Ok first one off my list is the June snowstorm that the Siberian city of Nadym has just experienced. This follows an abnormally mild week with temperatures of 28C. They basically went from t-shirts and shorts weather to ski gear in the space of a week.

Pretty good for that latitude. What is their normal June daily high?

Random recent stuff in France:

As of June 16, 2013, Nice hasn't even reached 24°C this year yet - 5 days from summer solstice...Might've happened today though, we will know tomorrow.

Paris recorded a high of only 9.1°C on May 24 (along with a low of 1.5°C) - pretty cold 1 week before summer.

Wow. They are getting unusual summer cold in Siberia, and Alaska is stuck in a heatwave. 80s and 90s in the Interior, with 70s and 80s in South Central.
