It looks like it hit 60 degrees here, but I was asleep, so I missed it. I get out of work at 6:30 this evening and I'm a bit worried about the possibility of ice on the road on the drive home with all this rain followed by freezing temperatures at night.
Rainfall totals estimated by radar since yesterday. It depicts the heavier rains on radar and estimates the amount that fell. (not to be confused with actual but comes pretty close many times)
That blue line is the freezing line (typically the rain/snow line) But notice something.... How tightly packed they are. That's a nice thermal gradient showing up. Arctic air forcing its way back into a warm atmosphere
