Bodie for warmer in general. While it is still frigid in winter, the high is considerably warm. But still, Bodie's diurnal range is mad. 24 degrees in July.

Both have mild climates and suffer from a relative lack of precipitation but it appears more so Swakopmund, so I would have to go with San Diego (though the fog in Swakopmund sounds interesting).
