My hometown is discussed quite a bit on the weather forum because there are a lot of Southern Hemisphere people here, but don't think it's actually been rated yet...

So here are the detailed BOM statistics...

Personally after living here for 20 plus years I give it a B. No complaints about temperature, but I find it a bit TOO dry and sunny these days, and the lack of thunderstorms and other exciting weather events (no snow, more than 50 mm of rain in a day is rare) makes it a dull, comfortable climate to live in. Don't appreciate the summer scorchers either.

I would give it a B-. The main drawbacks are the low summer rainfall and slightly sunnier skies than I would like.

Most people I know who live or have lived there, love the climate. Interesting to note. that there are not many less rain days than here (8), despite having only having 60% of the total.

I rate it a solid B. Winters are chillier than ideal but they are pretty good with no freezing temperatures. Summers look really nice with the hot weather and sunshine

A.
The best climate of the capital cities in Oz.
Summer can be relentless, and winter-early spring quite wet and windy, but overall -pretty close to perfect.

A. To get A+, would need to lower the winter rainfall (though tahta hea been heading downwards on decadal time scales).

B+. The potential for extreme summer heat (40+ C) and cool, windy, rainy weather in winter prevents it from getting a higher grade.

Looks worse than Adelaide. Winters are still present (and the rains would probably make it feel cooler, which is nice), which keeps it from getting an F.

A- , similar to Adelaide but looks a bit more pleasant in the winters. I like it, close to perfect.

A-.

Would prefer a bit more summer rainfall and less winter rainfall though.
